About the event

The Racial Complex:  Creating Pathways for Transformation and Healing

Our work together will include a focus on exploring raciality, racism and aspects of the Racial Complex as Jung first imagined it as well as how it can show itself in our 21st Century American Psyche.

A most important aspect of Jungian Psychology is that it looks to have a creative means for understanding the deeper Self, and through this, to lead us on a journey of peaceful self-reflection in the life.  This evolves from the close relationship that develops between the ego and Unconscious.

In this workshop group process, through discussion and writing, we will explore how we, as individuals, can strengthen the ego when working with psychologically complex issues, and how this work can enhance and provide an orientation toward transformation of the ego, while honoring the soulful demands of the archetypal Self and the Racial Complex.
